About Company

Rodenburg’s activities started with trading of plant derived products for various industries in 1945. The company has been a family owned company since then, with currently the third generation joining the company.

During an extensive period of years Rodenburg has developed highly innovative extrusion production processes for the production of starch products from waste streams like e.g. potato industry. It offers an excellent base for a wide range of products and applications.

The product Solanyl was born followed later on with some of it’s derivates.

Focus is on the development and production of a high tech biodegradable biopolymer product range. From history Rodenburg strive to base products on reclaimed potato, grain, root or seed flour based resources for various applications in the bioplastics, paper and oildrilling industry.

For its investments in highly innovative and patented product developments Rodenburg seeks partnerships with various companies and universities world wide.

Rodenburg Biopolymers is a privately owned company, registered with the Chamber of Commerce of Breda, the Netherlands under number 20101236. General terms and conditions are applicable, have been filed at the Registry of the District Court in Breda, and will be forwarded upon request.
